One Pan Kielbasa with Apples

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 13 Ounces Joe’s Own Kielbasa Sausage Sliced into rounds
  • 2 Large Apples Peeled, Cored, and sliced thin
  • 1 Large Red Onion Sliced
  • ½ teaspoon Thyme
  • ½ teaspoon Sage
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  •  Cup Chicken Broth
  • ¼ Cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sausage to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until starting to become golden.
  3. Add the sliced apples and onion to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  4. Season with the thyme, sage, salt & pepper.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk together the broth, syrup, garlic and mustard.
  6. Pour the sauce into the skillet, stir, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes until apples are soft.
